“SAMI and Royal Protocol Forge Strategic Alliance to Boost National Defense Expertise”
The Royal Protocol and Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), the national defense and security leader, a PIF enterprise, have formalized a memorandum of collaboration with the objective of sharing expertise in various areas of common interest. Aiding in the advancement of national capabilities and boosting operational efficiency, the accord is part of continuous initiatives to promote integration between governmental bodies and prominent national firms.
This memorandum was executed by H.E. Khalid bin Saleh Al Abbad, Head of Royal Protocol, alongside Eng. Thamer AlMuhid, CEO of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), during a ceremonial signing that included several senior officials from both organizations.
Within a thorough cooperative framework, collaborative projects will be executed with the Royal Protocol, utilizing the resources of SAMI Land and SAMI Advanced Electronics. These cooperative endeavors comprise sharing knowledge in protocol management, conducting joint workshops and meetings, as well as applying the expertise of both firms in land systems, advanced electronics, maintenance services, technical training, and after-sales support. Furthermore, the framework includes training programs intended to enhance the human capabilities of Royal Protocol staff.
The signing of this memorandum signifies both parties’ dedication to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to localize technological and industrial capabilities as well as to strengthen collaborations.
