Valencia’s Bell Training Academy Launches Innovative 429 Technical Training Experience!
In a bid to provide more training options for its international clientele, especially for operators in the EMEA regions, the Bell Training Academy has recently expanded its technical training programs in Valencia, Spain. The BTA Valencia team has launched courses that were previously offered at its Fort Worth, TX site, now featuring two innovative comprehensive programs for maintenance technicians, designed to offer an in-depth perspective of the aircraft along with extensive maintenance training.
Accredited by (DGCA, EASA, GCAA, UK CAA), the Bell 429 field maintenance program includes a thorough examination of the specifications, functionalities, and maintenance procedures essential for field upkeep. Utilizing a newly acquired Bell 429 airframe, participants will receive both classroom education and practical experience pertaining to the airframe, ground handling and servicing, main rotor, and main rotor controls. Additionally, they will explore the main rotor drive system, powerplant (installation and rigging as it relates to the airframe), fuel system, tail rotor drive system, tail rotor, hydraulic systems, flight controls, and electrical systems.

Instructors will deliver both theoretical and hands-on type training focused on the Bell 429 aircraft to certify engineers. Bell requires that all certified technicians undertake the written assessments exclusively in English without the assistance of an interpreter or digital translator. The course spans four weeks, with the following dates: July 7, 2025 – August 1, 2025; October 6, 2025 – October 31, 2025.
