
“Oshkosh Defense Lands Key FHTV Deals to Transform Army Capabilities and Fortify National Security”
Oshkosh Defense LLC, a division of Oshkosh Corporation [NYSE: OSK], has obtained agreements from the U.S. Army totaling $167 million for 225 trucks and 54 trailers as part of the Family of Heavy Tactical Vehicles contract. These agreements underscore the continuous advancement of Oshkosh’s heavy tactical vehicle solutions and highlight the firm’s dedication to supporting the Army’s strategic modernization goals.
The vehicles will support a variety of U.S. Army clients, including the National Guard, Reserve, and the Program Executive Office Missiles & Space (PEO MS) for the Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) initiative.
Thisprocurement includes HEMTT A4 models in conjunction with the autonomous-ready Palletized Load System (PLS) A2, aligning advanced Oshkosh platforms for synergy with state-of-the-art defense technologies. Some of these vehicles will aid in the design and implementation of sophisticated air defense systems, tailored to counter threats from ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missiles.
