Italian Military Debuts Next-Gen Lynx KF41 for Groundbreaking Test and Technology Showcase


A prototype of the Lynx KF41 armored infantry fighting vehicle has been delivered to the Italian Army Multipurpose Testing Center (Cepolispe) for evaluation, analysis, and preliminary technical appraisals.

The technical specialists and test pilots of the Army will engage in familiarization sessions with the Lynx, performing a variety of evaluations intended to assess the vehicle’s maneuverability, protection, firepower, and interoperability features.

Developed by Rheinmetall in 2015, the Lynx KF41 represents a cutting-edge platform recognized for its modular structure and remarkable versatility, allowing it to fulfill multiple roles such as an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), troop transporter, mobile command unit, or medical evacuation vehicle.

The Army Cepolispe is responsible for the testing, technological enhancement, and technical evaluation of the most advanced land platforms and functions under the Army Logistics Command through the Technical Command.
