Spain Steps Up: Celebrating the Sixteenth Nation to Join the PAC-3 Alliance!
Officials from the United States and Spain have finalized an agreement for Spain to procure Lockheed Martin’s Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) projectiles along with vital support equipment. This accord establishes Spain as the 16th partner nation in the PAC-3 program.
“At Lockheed Martin, our dedication is focused on equipping our customers to remain at the forefront of emerging, highly contested threats,” expressed Brian Kubik, vice president of PAC-3 Programs at Lockheed Martin. “As the world’s most advanced aerial defense missile, PAC-3 will significantly enhance Spain’s national security capabilities and increase their effectiveness in the 21st Century Security® combat landscape.”
PAC-3 MSE features state-of-the-art technologies to neutralize a range of imminent hazards, including tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, hypersonic projectiles, and aircraft. By adding PAC-3 MSE to its defense arsenal, Spain will fortify its air and missile defense systems against increasingly sophisticated threats.
