Air Algerie Expands Fleet with New A330-900 and A350-1000 Orders!

Air Algérie, the flagship airline of Algeria, has finalized a firm order for seven widebody jets to enhance its commercial growth.

This acquisition will enable Air Algérie to fully leverage the adaptability of the Airbus portfolio, bolster its regional operations, and present an ambitious strategy for transcontinental routes. By incorporating the A330neo along with the A350-1000, Air Algérie will also gain operational efficiencies, such as a 25 percent reduction in fuel consumption per seat and improved versatility thanks to the distinctive commonality among members of the Airbus aircraft family.

The A330neo and A350 both showcase the award-winning Airspace cabin, which provides travelers with elevated comfort, ambiance, and design. This encompasses additional personal space, larger overhead compartments, an innovative lighting system, and access to cutting-edge in-flight entertainment and connectivity solutions.

The A330neo Family is equipped with the newest Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines; the A330-900 is capable of flying 7,200 nautical miles (13,334 km) without stops. By the close of April 2023, the A330 Family had achieved 1,775 firm orders from 130 clients globally, establishing it as the most favored widebody family in history, dominating both short- and medium-haul markets.

The A350 Family stands as the world’s most cutting-edge and market-leading long-haul aircraft family, powered by Rolls-Royce’s innovative Trent XWB engines, which are recognized as the most efficient widebody aircraft available, able to cover 8,700 nautical miles (16,100 kilometers) non-stop. By the end of April 2023, the A350 Family had garnered 967 firm orders from 54 clients worldwide, marking it as one of the most successful widebody aircraft ever built.
