KNDS Expands Horizons: Thrilling New Subsidiary Debuts in Ukraine!
KNDS, a Franco-German defense enterprise, has recently declared the establishment of a subsidiary in Ukraine.
This initiative is designed to bolster the company’s footprint in the region and enhance its ability to support the Ukrainian defense sector.
The organization has signed two Letters of Intent with the Ukrainian firm ENMEK. The first agreement concerns the creation of a maintenance facility for the Caesar self-propelled howitzer, an essential component of the Ukrainian military arsenal. The second contract emphasizes the production of spare parts for the Caesar using innovative 3D printing technologies.
Moreover, KNDS has formed a partnership with KZVV, another Ukrainian company, to shift the manufacturing of 155mm artillery shells. This is in line with a comprehensive strategy to localize armaments production across Ukraine.
These efforts are part of KNDS’s overarching strategy to enhance the military capabilities of Ukraine and strengthen the nation’s sovereignty within the defense industry.
