
Bell Unveils Landmark Delivery of the First Bell 505 to Greece
Bell Textron Inc., a subsidiary of Textron Inc., has announced the handing over of the inaugural Bell 505 to a client in Greece. The aircraft was delivered in August at the Bell Prague Service Center. This privately-owned helicopter will be utilized by Bellavia Ltd. for commercial operations across the mainland and islands of Greece, catering to business, VIP, leisure, and charter flights. Bellavia will manage and maintain the aircraft with its organization’s certifications, using pilots and technicians trained at the Bell Training Academy.
“This marks an exhilarating milestone for the Bell 505. It allows travelers to discover the world from a fresh angle and visit some of its most secluded and picturesque locations.”
Since 1991, Bellavia Aviation Services Ltd. has been operating and servicing Bell aircraft. This third-generation family enterprise commenced its journey with a Bell 47, accumulating over 3,500 flight hours in agricultural fertilization, mosquito control, and aerial cinematography. Operations continued with the iconic Bell 206 JetRanger, Bell 230, Bell 206 LongRanger, and the current fleet, which includes Bell 206, Bell 407, Bell 429, and Bell 505.
