
Bell Secures Contract for Four Bell 429 Helicopters for Public Service Missions
Bell Textron Inc., a subsidiary of Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT), has revealed an order for four Bell 429 helicopters intended for parapublic operations in the Middle East. These aircraft will enhance the existing fleet of 90 Bell 429s that are currently assisting in law enforcement, firefighting, and parapublic initiatives around the world, contributing to Bell’s comprehensive fleet of nearly 500 Bell 429s globally.

The Bell 429 can be equipped with various tools such as a hoist, searchlight, and rope kit, in addition to a mission console, high-definition camera, and video downlink. The law enforcement configuration is capable of accommodating up to six passengers along with two crew members in its 204sqft (5.78m3) cabin, which features easily detachable seats for versatile configurations and cargo transport. The cargo hook boasts a capacity of 3,000lbs or 1,361kg.
