Boeing Unveils Stunning F-15EX in U.S. Air Force Colors Through Captivating New Video

Boeing, the American aerospace manufacturer, has unveiled a new video showcasing its latest F-15EX fighter jet adorned with the official U.S. Air Force design.

The company highlighted that U.S. Air Force test pilots have taken their inaugural flight in the F-15EX, a state-of-the-art fighter aircraft.

“This recent flight sets the stage for delivery,” stated Boeing.

The F-15EX, often referred to as the Strike Eagle on Steroids, represents the most recent iteration of the renowned F-15 Eagle fighter. This new model is set to feature advanced avionics, enhanced radar systems, and the capacity to carry over two dozen air-to-air missiles.

With the ability to deploy more armaments than any other fighter jet in its category, the F-15EX can also launch hypersonic missiles measuring up to 22 feet in length and weighing as much as 7,000 pounds.

Current pilots and maintenance personnel familiar with the F-15 are expected to transition to the F-15EX within days instead of years.

The Air Force placed its initial order for the F-15EX in July 2020, securing a contract for the first batch of eight jets, valued at no more than approximately $1.2 billion. The total program is projected to have a maximum value of $23 billion.

Boeing anticipates plans for up to 144 aircraft in the future.
