KNDS, a prominent European producer of military ground systems headquartered in Amsterdam, has officially renamed its Group entities Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG and Nexter Systems S.A. effective 8 April 2024.

Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG will now function as KNDS Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, while Nexter Systems S.A. will be known as KNDS France S.A.

In conjunction with these renamings, the titles of German, French, British, Italian, and Belgian subsidiaries of KNDS France and KNDS Deutschland have also undergone legal modifications. For all additional divisions of the Group, the name transformations will be executed by the conclusion of 2024.

The earlier brand identities were already substituted by the “KNDS” brand in June 2023. The legal name alterations necessitated meticulous coordination with governmental bodies, clientele, and suppliers, so they were executed in a subsequent phase.
