Addressing the requirements of the Royal Saudi Armed Forces
Our products have been in operation within the Royal Saudi Armed Forces for several years, including the CAESAR artillery system, the NARWHAL naval remotely operated 20mm turret, the TITUS armored personnel carrier, and the ARAVIS highly protected 4×4 vehicle.
At WDS 2024, Nexter, a subsidiary of KNDS, unveils its battle-tested and innovative offerings:
- Our latest combat vehicles, featuring the new VBCI MkII equipped with the T40 turret and the JAGUAR combat and reconnaissance vehicle currently utilized by the French Army.
- The RAPIDFire naval turret, now operational within the French Army. This advanced system is outfitted with our 40mm CTA cannon and optronics developed by Thales. During the recent deployment of the new supply ship of the French Navy, the BRF Jacques-Chevalier, it successfully conducted a shooting campaign.
- Our cutting-edge ammunition solutions, including the LU 211 and LU 220 series of HE projectiles for both legacy and modern 155mm artillery systems, along with SABIR 155mm precision-guided munitions and SHARD 120mm APFSDS tank rounds.
Nexter’s collaborative development initiatives
Nexter, a subsidiary of KNDS, is wholly dedicated to advancing partnerships with Saudi enterprises. Consequently, Nexter provides the opportunity to localize production, development, and maintenance capabilities. Discussions are in progress with multiple partners to explore further collaboration, including:
- Artillery munitions,
- Co-development of armored vehicles.
