Embraer Partners with Philippine Air Force for A-29 Super Tucano Support Deal

Embraer revealed today that it has finalized a service contract with the Philippine Air Force to assist their fleet of A-29 Super Tucano planes. This contract will extend support for over 200 part numbers associated with the A-29 Super Tucano.

“Remaining close to our clients and aiding them in their missions is fundamental to our operations,” stated Rinaldo Piubeli Prado, Vice President of Global Defense & Security Customer Support & Aftermarket Sales, Embraer Services & Support.

“By utilizing our customer support team in the Asia Pacific region, we are privileged to back the Philippine Air Force as they deploy the A-29 and maximize its capabilities,” he concluded.

The Philippine Air Force’s squadron of six A-29 Super Tucano aircraft was delivered in 2020 amidst the global pandemic, showcasing Embraer’s dedication to the Philippine Air Force. These aircraft are operated and serviced by the Philippine Air Force’s 15th Strike Wing.

Last year, Embraer’s global fleet of A-29 Super Tucano aircraft achieved a remarkable milestone of 500,000 flight hours. With over 260 units delivered, the aircraft has already been chosen by more than 15 air forces globally.
