
“Oshkosh Defense Secures FHTV Contracts to Propel Army Evolution and Strengthen National Security”
Oshkosh Defense LLC, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation [NYSE: OSK], has secured contracts from the U.S. Army amounting to $167 million for 225 trucks and 54 trailers as part of the Family of Heavy Tactical Vehicles agreement. These contracts illustrate the ongoing progress of Oshkosh’s heavy tactical vehicle offerings and emphasize the company’s commitment to aiding the Army’s strategic modernization initiatives.
The vehicles will assist various U.S. Army customers, including the National Guard, Reserve, and the Program Executive Office Missiles & Space (PEO MS) for the Indirect Fire Protection Capability (IFPC) system.
This procurement features HEMTT A4 models alongside the autonomous-ready Palletized Load System (PLS) A2, strategically aligning advanced Oshkosh platforms for compatibility with cutting-edge defense technologies. Some vehicles will contribute to the development and deployment of sophisticated air defense systems designed to mitigate threats from ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missiles.
