“KEMANKEŞ 2 Mini Cruise Missile Celebrates Historic Debut with Flawless Launch”
Turkey’s leading defense firm, Baykar, has successfully executed the first test firing of the KEMANKEŞ 2 Mini Smart Cruise Missile, crafted locally and innovatively, at the Baykar Flight Training and Testing Facility located in Keşan, Edirne.
The mini smart cruise missile offers an operational endurance of around one hour and can rapidly target vital enemy installations beyond the frontline, owing to its jet propulsion system. With a striking range exceeding 200 kilometers, the KEMANKEŞ 2, which is equipped with an AI-powered optical targeting system, can effectively engage targets even in challenging weather conditions.
Featuring an AI-assisted autopilot function, the KEMANKEŞ 2 has the capability to autonomously navigate and neutralize strategic targets with outstanding precision, transforming battlefield strategies. Functional in both daytime and nighttime environments, the KEMANKEŞ 2 is fitted with anti-jamming technology, allowing it to operate efficiently amidst electronic interference. Additionally, it provides real-time data tracking support to the operator by transmitting all gathered information and visuals back to the ground control station.
