KAAN Fighter Jet Elevates Aviation with Spectacular Second Test Flight!

The Turkish national fighter jet “KAAN” successfully carried out its second assessment flight on Monday, which lasted 14 minutes, according to Anadolu Agency.

A press release issued by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) revealed that the KAAN fighter jet completed its second test flight today.

During its second voyage, “KAAN” took to the skies for 14 minutes, reached an elevation of 10,000 feet, and achieved a speed of 230 knots.

Following the second flight, İsmail Demir, Head of the Defense Industries Authority, met with the test pilots and project team.

Reflecting on the national fighter jet’s second flight, Demir noted that it represented “another historic achievement,” expressing his pride in the accomplishment.

“We have witnessed another significant moment in the chronicles of Turkish aviation and defense history. Our piloted aircraft successfully completed its second flight today,” he stated.

He underscored that the second flight was conducted with exceptional success, similar to the initial flight on February 21.

“The data collected from this flight will be meticulously analyzed by the entire team, and preparations for future flights will advance,” he remarked.

The “KAAN” is a fifth-generation stealth fighter jet capable of performing aerial combat missions and executing precision strikes from its internal weapon compartments at supersonic speeds.
