L3Harris Secures $98 Million Contract for Advanced F-16 Defense Solutions

L3Harris Technologies has secured a groundbreaking contract valued at $97.5 million. This agreement focuses on delivering essential repair and return (R&R) services for both unclassified and classified line-replaceable unit/standard equipment module assets related to the ALQ-211 (V)4, (V)8, and (V)9 systems within the airborne F-16 Advanced Integrated Defense Electronic Warfare Suite (AIDEWS).

This contract also encompasses Foreign Military Sales (FMS), providing crucial support to air forces in several nations including Chile, India, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Turkey, Iraq, and Morocco. The procurement of these R&R logistical support services is vital for restoring the F-16 AIDEWS systems to a fully mission-capable state, thus enhancing the self-defense and survivability capabilities of partnering F-16 FMS fleets against diverse electromagnetic threats.

The project will take place in Clifton, New Jersey, with the completion date anticipated by October 29, 2025.
