
With the helicopter fleet in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expanding to provide various services to the regional economy and communities, leading to an increased demand for enhanced technical support, Leonardo has further solidified its collaboration with Mukamalah Aviation Company (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Aramco) by designating it as an Authorized Service Center in the Kingdom.
The two collaborators commemorated this recent accomplishment during an official event at the Farnborough International Airshow on Wednesday.
Mukamalah Aviation Company will soon offer a wide array of maintenance and repair services for its AW139 and AW109 Power helicopters, as well as for third-party aircraft of the same models from its facilities in Tanajib, Ras Tanura, and Dammam.
As one of the largest operators of Leonardo helicopters in the Middle East, Mukamalah Aviation Company has been utilizing AW139s since 2008 and AW109 light twins since 2006, primarily conducting offshore transport operations in Saudi Arabia to support the oil and gas sector. Currently, Mukamalah’s Leonardo helicopter fleet comprises 27 units.
Mukamalah Aviation Company Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, stands as the first aviation firm in Saudi Arabia and the second in the Middle East.
