Netherlands Strengthens Military with Revolutionary Oshkosh Expeditionary Vehicle Contract

Oshkosh Defense Europe B.V. in partnership with Oshkosh Defense, LLC, a division of Oshkosh Corporation [NYSE: OSK], announced today the official formation of a significant agreement with the Netherlands Ministry of Defense (MoD) for the procurement of 150 Dutch Expeditionary Patrol Vehicles (DXPV), known as the “Kaaiman.”

The contract signing ceremony, held on June 25, 2025, in Doorn, Netherlands, marks an essential leap in the Netherlands’ ongoing enhancement of its expeditionary capacities and highlights Oshkosh’s unwavering reputation as the preferred collaborator for international allies.

The Oshkosh DXPV is constructed on the proven Oshkosh Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) foundation. It integrates years of engineering excellence and operational superiority, equipping the Dutch Marines with a sophisticated solution specifically tailored for modern missions and expeditionary operations. The vehicle delivers unmatched off-road maneuverability, quick speed, and flawless interoperability with NATO forces, securing the Netherlands’ operational effectiveness in various and challenging environments.

With this contract, the Netherlands augments a growing list of global partners choosing the proven JLTV platform to strengthen their land forces. The DXPV will enhance the mobility, survivability, and operational efficiency of the Dutch Marines, ensuring mission readiness in both joint and coalition operations.
