Leonardo has partnered with Discovery Air Defence Services Inc. and Inzpire Ltd. to create a cutting-edge, customer-driven, low-risk live air training solution tailored for the UK Ministry of Defence’s Air Support to Defence Operational Training (ASDOT) programme. This collaboration combines each company’s strengths in live air aggressor training, air warfare instruction, Electronic Warfare, and airborne systems integration. The goal is to deliver an adaptable and powerful solution to meet ASDOT’s live tactical training demands well into the mid-2030s.
The relationship between DA Defence and Inzpire was first established in February 2017 to leverage their unique capabilities in support of ASDOT. With Leonardo joining the team, they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in executing complex, long-term programmes for the UK MOD. This includes expertise in advanced airborne systems, sophisticated radar technologies, and electronics. The collective aim is to provide the most relevant and effective fleet and technical resources to fulfill ASDOT training requirements.
