Raytheon Secures $15M Boost for Qatar’s Air and Missile Defense Initiative
Raytheon Company – Integrated Defense Systems, located in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, has secured a significant $15,150,728 modification (P00029) to its previously awarded contract FA8730-15-C-0002. This contract focuses on enhancing the Qatar Air and Missile Defense Operation Center.
This recent modification encompasses the procurement of the Qatar Alternate ADOC Prime Mission Equipment along with essential software. Notably, this project will be entirely funded through foreign military sales to Qatar, underscoring the strengthening defense collaboration between the United States and Qatar.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, based at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is overseeing this contracting operation, which marks another step towards bolstering Qatar’s defense capabilities.
