Jordan’s Sky Guardians Welcome Their Inaugural Bell 505 Helicopters
Bell Textron Inc., a subsidiary of Textron Inc., has disclosed the delivery of the initial five out of ten Bell 505 helicopters to the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF).
The acquisition agreement, finalized on July 6, 2022, encompasses aircraft delivery along with a flight training apparatus and an extensive computer-based training program aimed at facilitating both fundamental and advanced rotorcraft flight instruction at the King Hussein Air College in Mafraq, Jordan.
“Bell is delighted to finalize the first Bell 505 deliveries to the Royal Jordanian Air Force and eagerly anticipates equipping its trainees with a complete fleet of state-of-the-art, innovative aircraft that will bolster the Armed Forces’ operational preparedness,” stated Patrick Moulay, senior vice president of International Commercial Sales at Bell.
