Russian Helicopters Secures Landmark Deal for Advanced Ka-52M Helicopter Deliveries

The Russian Helicopters Holding Company (a subsidiary of Rostec State Corporation) has sealed a deal with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation during the international military and technical conference “Army-2021” to supply the initial upgraded Ka-52M attack helicopters. The first aircraft is slated for delivery in 2022.

The planned deliveries of the upgraded helicopters will commence following the successful completion of state joint testing, which is set to begin in August.

“The Ka-52 ranks among the top attack helicopters globally, yet even the finest aircraft necessitates timely upgrades to enhance its operational capabilities,” remarked Andrey Boginsky, Chief Executive Officer of Russian Helicopters Holding Company. – “In developing this updated version, our engineers leveraged the operational experiences of the Alligator, particularly in real combat scenarios. Consequently, every aspect of the upgraded attack helicopter is designed to boost combat efficiency across diverse weather conditions.

In accordance with the agreement with the Russian Ministry of Defense, preparations for mass production have already commenced at the AAC “Progress” facility located in Primorye.
