Saab Secures Major Contract for Gripen Development and Operational Assistance

Saab has secured a contract from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for the upkeep and supply of resources necessary for the development and operational assistance of Gripen. The overall worth of the contract is SEK 345 million.

The contract from FMV primarily involves activities concerning rigs, simulators, and test aircraft for the verification and validation of the Gripen fighter jet system, including versions C/D and E, as well as operational support for Gripen C/D.
