
Collins Aerospace Sets Sights on FlightAware Acquisition
Collins Aerospace, a division of Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX), has finalized an agreement to procure privately owned FlightAware, a premier digital aviation firm offering worldwide flight monitoring solutions, predictive technologies, analytics, and decision-making instruments.
Completion of the acquisition is contingent upon satisfying standard conditions and obtaining regulatory endorsements. After the agreement is finalized, FlightAware will integrate into Collins’ Information Management Services suite within the Avionics strategic business unit. The financial specifics of the arrangement remain undisclosed.
