Safran Partners with Yellowhead Helicopters for Innovative SBH Support Agreement
Safran Helicopter Engines has entered into an agreement with Yellowhead Helicopters to assist Arriel in powering its AS350 and H125 fleets. This Support-By-the-Hour (SBH®) contract establishes a long-term Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) and service arrangement for 21 engines.
This agreement will be overseen by Safran Helicopter Engines Canada, located in Mirabel, Quebec, which provides North American clients with support services for Arriel and Arrius engines, as well as the repair and refurbishment of engines, modules, and accessories. With this top-notch service solution, Safran aims to aid Yellowhead Helicopters in its endeavors across forestry, mining, oil and gas, utilities, and tourism sectors.
