Saudi Arabia to Stage Epic ‘Victory Blades 2026’ Multinational Military Drill

Next week, Saudi Arabia will commence the highly anticipated “Spears of Victory 2026” military exercise at the Air Warfare Center, as announced by the Ministry of Defense.

Under the leadership of the Royal Saudi Air Force, this extensive military exercise will take place from January 18 to February 5. It will feature robust participation from diverse regional and international forces, emphasizing the commitment to enhancing military cooperation and joint operational integration.

The exercise will involve various branches of Saudi Arabia’s military, including the Ministry of the National Guard, the Presidency of State Security, and the Unified Military Command of the Gulf Cooperation Council. Military units from several regional and international partners will also join in.

Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Omari, commander of the Air Warfare Center, noted that the main goals of the exercise are to boost combat readiness, facilitate the sharing of expertise in both planning and execution, and establish a unified approach to joint military operations among the participating forces.

He further emphasized that the exercise will target both current and emerging threats, refine tactical capabilities, and enhance cooperative operational strategies.

Participating military forces will engage in joint and combined tactical operations aimed at simulating real-world threats and standardizing multi-domain joint air operations within a cutting-edge electronic warfare environment.

Conducted at the Air Warfare Center, located in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern region, the exercise will benefit from one of the most advanced training facilities available, designed to mimic actual operational conditions and foster the development and assessment of combat capabilities.
