“Schiebel Unveils Major Growth of Camcopter S-300 in Abu Dhabi”
Schiebel is significantly enhancing its capabilities in Abu Dhabi to broaden the advancement and production of the long-endurance, heavy-lift-capable CAMCOPTER® S-300 Unmanned Aerial System (UAS).
The enlargement of Schiebel’s establishment in the UAE comes in the wake of securing a crucial contract for supplying the CAMCOPTER® S-300 UAS equipped with advanced sensor suites for the South Korean Navy.
Designed to provide exceptional endurance, the S-300 has the ability to transport payloads weighing up to 250 kg. With its unparalleled performance and multi-sensor capabilities, this new UAS is perfectly suited for Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) operations, including submarine detection and early missile threat warnings, as well as heavy-lift resupply missions across challenging terrains over extended distances.
