SYPAQ Systems (Australia) alongside Tanglewood Group (UK) have declared today their establishment of a strategic alliance aimed at bolstering global sales of the accomplished SYPAQ Corvo Precision Payload Delivery System (PPDS) uncrewed aerial system (UAS). Following the successful deployment of over 500 PPDS autonomous units to the Ukraine Defence Force, SYPAQ and Tanglewood have collaborated to facilitate further sales, assistance, and distribution across Europe and the Middle East.

Michael Partridge, General Manager of SYPAQ Systems, expressed, “We are thrilled to have Richard and the Tanglewood team partner with us to broaden the reach of our successful Corvo PPDS autonomous system across Defence and Commercial sectors in Europe and the Middle East. Tanglewood’s closer presence to these markets will enable more prompt and effective assistance to clients searching for world-class, military-grade autonomous solutions. Our accomplishments with the Corvo PPDS in Ukraine bolster our intentions to expand globally.”

SYPAQ’s Corvo PPDS UAS is an economically viable, highly proficient fixed-wing autonomous platform capable of discreetly delivering payloads with remarkable accuracy and dependability. Delivered as a compact kit to minimize logistic challenges, and constructed predominantly from waxed foamboard, these systems are straightforward to assemble and operate. With a payload capacity of up to 3kg, a range exceeding 100km, the Corvo PPDS can autonomously navigate to designated locations and land without external assistance. Crafted and operationally validated as an economical and versatile autonomous UAS, it empowers end-users to innovate during missions.

Richard Glyn-Jones, Co-Founder and Director of Tanglewood, stated, “We are eager to collaborate with the SYPAQ team and utilize Tanglewood’s vast market outreach in Europe and the Middle East, along with our proficiency in autonomous systems and sensors, to promote the growth of Corvo PPDS operations. We envision the PPDS as essential for future military engagements, as well as applications in Search & Rescue, law enforcement, and humanitarian aid delivery. Our partnership with SYPAQ enables us to develop upcoming technology integrations to broaden its use cases. We are excited about the opportunity to introduce the PPDS and work in close coordination with the SYPAQ team.”

The Corvo PPDS disposable UAV platform has gained recognition for its performance in the Ukrainian conflict zone and continues to stand out as a top-tier, multi-mission, fixed-wing UAV system.
