Thales Unveils New Defence Service Centre in Abu Dhabi to Empower UAE Armed Forces
In a significant move to enhance its presence in the region, Thales has announced the establishment of a dedicated Defence Service Centre in Abu Dhabi. This initiative aims to strengthen relationships with customers and offer a comprehensive suite of services tailored to the unique needs of the UAE Armed Forces.
The new centre will leverage existing local expertise while enriching the capabilities of Thales in the UAE. It is designed to facilitate training and knowledge transfer, ultimately boosting the support provided to local defence forces.
This Service Centre is set to support all divisions of the UAE Armed Forces, encompassing the wide array of solutions offered by Thales. By prioritizing fast and efficient service delivery, the Centre aims to enhance customer satisfaction, foster loyalty, and propel Thales’ long-term growth trajectory in the region.
Initially, the Service Centre will build on current local support mechanisms, with plans to expand by hiring a dedicated team of professionals. These experts will cater to both the UAE Armed Forces and national Emirati defence companies:
- The centre will feature a call centre equipped to handle customer inquiries in real time, providing support in both Arabic and English.
- A dedicated support desk will offer specialized assistance, alongside front and back office functions such as procurement, inventory management, shipping, and logistics chain management.
- As a pivotal step in Thales’ growth within the region, the Defence Service Centre will also host technical workshops and training sessions for its customers.
Through this strategic initiative, Thales aims to further develop its local teams and expertise, ensuring higher efficiency in project delivery and sustained support for its UAE clientele.
