
Turkey’s KAAN Fighter Jet Soars to New Heights in Thrilling Second Test Flight!
The Turkish national combat aircraft “KAAN” successfully executed its second evaluation flight on Monday, lasting 14 minutes, as reported by Anadolu Agency.
A communiqué released by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) indicated that the KAAN combat aircraft accomplished its second test flight today.
During its second journey, “KAAN” remained airborne for 14 minutes, attained an altitude of 10,000 feet, and reached a velocity of 230 knots.
After the second flight, İsmail Demir, Head of the Defense Industries Authority, convened with the test pilots and the project team.

Reflecting on the national fighter aircraft’s second journey, Demir remarked that it was “another historic milestone,” conveying his pride in the achievement.
“We have experienced another notable day in the annals of Turkish aviation and defense history. Our manned warplane completed its second flight today,” he stated.
He emphasized that the second flight was performed with tremendous success, akin to the inaugural flight on February 21.
“The information gathered from this flight will be analyzed by the entire team, and preparations for subsequent flights will proceed,” he remarked.
The “KAAN” is a fifth-generation combat aircraft capable of executing aerial combat missions and conducting precision attacks from internal weapon bays at supersonic speeds.
