Boeing has been granted a set of multiyear contracts approximated at $2.7 billion to fabricate additional Patriot Advanced Capability‑3 (PAC‑3) seekers. According to the contracts, Boeing will supply over 3,000 seekers at rates reaching up to 750 units annually until 2030.

Boeing is collaborating closely with primary contractor Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Army to further enhance production rates and fulfill new objectives for the PAC‑3 interceptor. Increasing seeker production is essential for ensuring the Patriot system continues to safeguard service members, civilians, and vital infrastructure globally as threats expand.

“Our team has never been more optimally positioned to respond to the nation’s demand for enhanced air and missile defense,” stated Jim Bryan, executive director of Boeing Integrated Air & Missile Defense. “These multiyear contracts highlight the advancements we’ve achieved and will enable us to satisfy the increasing global need for the PAC‑3 seeker.”

Pac-3 seekers produced by Boeing empower Patriot interceptors to detect, monitor, and counter sophisticated threats, encompassing hypersonic dangers, hostile aircraft, and both ballistic and cruise missiles. The need for PAC‑3 interceptors has surged in response to recent conflicts and the swiftly evolving threat landscapes in Ukraine, the Middle East, and the Indo-Pacific.

During 2025, the company established new monthly and 12-month rolling average production benchmarks and aims to deliver a record 650 to 700 seekers by the end of the year. Years of internal investments, upgrades to production lines, reinforced supplier collaborations, and the completion of a new 35,000-square-foot factory enlargement have elevated Boeing’s production capabilities.

Since the year 2000, Boeing has provided over 6,000 progressively advanced PAC‑3 seekers to the U.S. Army while serving as a Lockheed Martin subcontractor from its facilities in Huntsville, Alabama. Seventeen nations, including the United States, depend on PAC‑3 interceptors to shield individuals and critical infrastructure worldwide.
