Collins Aerospace Unveils Revolutionary OXYJUMP™ NG Oxygen Solution for Elite Military Paratroopers

Collins Aerospace, a subsidiary of Raytheon Technologies, unveiled its OXYJUMP™ NG oxygen supply system designed specifically for high-altitude jumps by skydivers. The OXYJUMP NG system’s innovative technology amplifies mission performance by extending gliding range, enhances jumper security, is user-friendly, and offers notable size and weight reductions compared to traditional systems.

Current oxygen delivery systems are constrained in prolonged high-altitude operations, limiting the effectiveness and reach of parachuting missions.

Leveraging Collins’ advanced oxygen pulse technology – already approved by one NATO member state – the OXYJUMP NG system offers users a compact, lightweight solution that automatically regulates oxygen levels to facilitate longer mission profiles.

“The OXYJUMP NG system equips allied military forces with the stealth, preparedness, and security needed to execute the most intricate jumps in existence,” stated Brad Haselhorst, Vice President and General Manager of Military, Safety and Cargo Systems at Collins Aerospace.

“The OXYJUMP NG system not only adapts to the progressive demands of combat jumps, but it’s available for deployment today,” he emphasized.

Created for comfort and simplicity, the OXYJUMP NG system operates autonomously and is fitted with an ergonomically styled mask that snugly and securely adheres to the face, providing users with assurance and allowing them to concentrate on their pivotal responsibilities.

Collins Aerospace’s OXYJUMP NG system was showcased at SOF Week, held from 08-11 May 2023 in Tampa, Florida, USA.
