Strengthening National Defense: SAMI Partners with Royal Protocol for Strategic Advancement
The Royal Protocol and Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), the foremost leader in national defense and security and a Public Investment Fund (PIF) entity, have solidified a formal agreement to collaborate with the aim of exchanging expertise in numerous domains of mutual interest. This partnership contributes to the enhancement of national capabilities and improving operational efficacy, representing ongoing efforts to foster integration between governmental entities and significant domestic enterprises.
This agreement was endorsed by H.E. Khalid bin Saleh Al Abbad, Head of Royal Protocol, in conjunction with Eng. Thamer AlMuhid, CEO of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), during a formal signing event that featured various senior representatives from both organizations.
Within a comprehensive cooperative framework, joint initiatives will be pursued with the Royal Protocol, leveraging the assets of SAMI Land and SAMI Advanced Electronics. These collaborative undertakings include knowledge exchange in protocol management, executing joint workshops and meetings, and employing the competencies of both organizations in land systems, advanced electronics, maintenance services, technical training, and after-sales assistance. Additionally, the framework encompasses training schemes designed to enhance the workforce capabilities of Royal Protocol personnel.
The endorsement of this memorandum underscores the commitment of both parties to the vision of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to localize technological and industrial proficiencies while strengthening partnerships. Signifying a pivotal step toward creating an integrated operational landscape that aligns with institutional and digital transformation, this collaboration will support the attainment of excellence in official services and protocol management, thereby elevating the Kingdom’s reputation in administration and protocol and fostering the culture of relying on advanced national solutions throughout various governmental sectors.
