Situated in Andøya, Norway, this partnership will concentrate on bridging gaps in the satellite and launch-related value chain. The alliance intends to deliver regular commercial launch services alongside flexible and rapid response capabilities directly from the European mainland. Additionally, it will introduce Tactical Responsive Launch (TacRL) services, ensuring the secure and resilient operation of satellites with minimized reaction times.
The synergy between Andøya Space and Rheinmetall is vital for maintaining the strategic military and civil space infrastructure for Germany, Norway, and other NATO member countries.
