ATAC Secures $554.5M Contract with U.S. Navy to Elevate Fleet Training Excellence

Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), a division of the Textron Systems sector of Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT), announced today the receipt of a contract from the U.S. Navy to continue delivering training support services to the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps under the Fleet Fighter Jet Services (FJS) program. This recent award builds upon ATAC’s two decades of achievement in assisting the U.S. Navy with high subsonic and supersonic aircraft executing various airborne threat simulations.

Under the indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) agreement, ATAC is set to offer approximately 6500-7000 flight hours annually for fleet support to the Navy and Marine Corps over a five-year period (2025-2030), up to a contract maximum of $554.5 million. The training will be managed by ATAC’s flight team, comprised of highly accomplished U.S. military veterans and experienced civilians, utilizing ATAC’s top-tier fleet of Mirage F1, F-21 Kfir, and Mk.58 Hawker Hunter fighter jets.

The Navy FJS contract has been fundamental to ATAC’s operations for more than twenty years. The ability to respond to customer needs has been critical to accomplishing success with this contract. In 2024, under the existing contract, ATAC achieved another record year in support of FJS end-users, inclusive of 82 deployments to over 16 detachment sites, 3189 man-days deployed, a record quantity of Hunter Sorties/Hours, and a record total of supersonic hours flown by our Kfir and F1 aircraft.

Rich Zins, ATAC Vice President of Business Operations stated: “We are privileged to once again be selected for an additional five-year contract in support of Navy and Marine Corps FJS, extending our current involvement in this contract past two decades. We wish to express gratitude to our clients for their trust in us, our subcontractors and suppliers for their steadfast support, and our employees, whose diligence, commitment, and emphasis on customer satisfaction have been crucial for the previous performance that has led to this contract award. We anticipate five more years of delivering adaptable airpower to fulfill the fleet’s challenging requirements.”
