Design and Ergonomic Benefits

The “METE SFT” is a full-sized 9mm pistol, delivering extraordinary precision and user comfort. This model is crafted for effective application at ranges of up to 40 – 50 meters, rendering it reliable for both long-range and close-quarter confrontations. Its well-balanced center of gravity and extended barrel empower users to manage recoil more proficiently, thereby boosting the weapon’s accuracy and handling.

Safety and Operational Features

A significant safety component of the “METE SFT” is its striker status indicator, which enables users to ascertain by touch if the striker is cocked. This functionality proves essential during nocturnal operations or high-pressure circumstances. Such a feature allows operators to maintain focus on their target without the need for visual verification of the handgun. This model also encompasses a loaded chamber indicator, enabling users to discern if a round is chambered, adding an extra layer of situational awareness and operational safety.

Innovative Design for Tactical Versatility

One standout feature of the “METE SFT” is its angled rear sight. In circumstances where an operator may lose functionality in one hand—such as due to a combat injury—this slanted sight permits the user to reload utilizing their belt or another solid surface. Moreover, the handgun is optic-compatible, facilitating the attachment of red-dot sights for co-witness aiming, effectively merging both optical and traditional sighting to enhance targeting.

Ammunition Capacity and Legal Considerations

The standard capacity of the handgun is 18 rounds, with an option to elevate it to 20 rounds, contingent on local legislation. In Turkey, for instance, handgun magazines are limited to 19 rounds for military applications, while regulations vary internationally—10 rounds in Australia, for example, and up to 20 rounds in the United States.

The “METE SFT” has rapidly established itself as an essential asset for the Turkish Armed Forces, merging accuracy, safety, and adaptability for operational deployment. This amalgamation of advanced features renders it a remarkably effective selection for military missions.
