Revolutionizing Defense: DSTA Joins Forces with ELT Group for Technological Evolution
Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) alongside Italy’s ELT Group has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance partnership in the joint development of defence technologies for the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).
This accord was established during the Paris Airshow 2025 and underscores the fruitful collaboration between DSTA and ELT Group.
The joint venture will prioritize advancements in sensors and digital innovations, along with the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning to bolster Electro-Magnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) capabilities. This initiative aims to enhance Singapore’s defence capabilities in EMSO.
DSTA’s Chief Executive, Mr. Ng Chad-Son stated, “In the current multi-domain operational environment, the capacity to detect, analyze, and respond effectively is critical. We anticipate a fruitful collaboration with ELT Group to create pioneering solutions in the EMSO sector, providing the SAF with a strategic advantage to operate more quickly, intelligently, and securely in complex conditions.”
ELT Group’s CEO & COO, Ms. Domitilla Benigni added, “We are immensely proud of this agreement, which reaffirms that our proficiency in electromagnetic spectrum management is acknowledged and valued. Our bond with Singapore is continually strengthening, and we eagerly look forward to collaborating with DSTA and enhancing our partnership in new areas such as EMSO within unmanned platforms.”
