“Embraer Partners with AICAT to Elevate Collaboration in Austrian Aerospace”
Embraer and AICAT (Austrian Industrial Cooperation & Aviation Technology) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding to foster global collaboration in the aerospace industry.
This partnership enriches Embraer’s current connections within Austria while pursuing further prospects such as collaborative research, technological advancements, and contributions from the Austrian aerospace ecosystem to the Embraer aircraft supply chain. AICAT functions under the auspices of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO), representing the entire aviation technology sector in Austria.
“For AICAT, an organization that represents around 100 Austrian aviation firms, predominantly SMEs that engage in the supply chain, a strengthened collaboration with Embraer, solidified by a Memorandum of Understanding, presents a significant chance and benefits both Embraer and the Austrian aviation industry, establishing a more organized alliance for mutual success,” remarks Reinhard Marak, CEO of AICAT.
“Embraer and Austria have been nurturing a long-standing relationship for numerous years, and this cooperation will continue to flourish with the newly established Memorandum of Understanding. We extend our gratitude to AICAT, the involved companies, and the representatives of the Austrian government for this vital milestone in our collaboration,” states Marcio Monteiro, Vice President of Market Intelligence, Embraer Defense & Security.
The announcement was made at Embraer’s headquarters in São José dos Campos. Following the ceremony, representatives from Austrian aerospace firms and the Austrian Government had the chance to engage with Embraer specialists in various technologies to discuss avenues for future collaboration.
