ELT Group Collaborates with D-Orbit to Propel Saudi Vision 2030 Forward

ELT Group, a leading name in Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, has joined forces with D-Orbit, a trailblazer in space logistics and in-orbit services, to establish a robust strategic cooperation framework. This partnership aims to promote long-term collaboration within the space sector.

This pivotal agreement is aligned with the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, creating a solid foundation for collaborative efforts that resonate with national priorities in technological advancement, industrial expansion, and localization.

The Saudi Ministry of Investment facilitated the signing ceremony, underscoring the significance of this initiative with the presence of a ministerial representative.

Detailed in the agreement is a shared commitment to explore and pursue business development opportunities, enhancing industrial and technological cooperation in pivotal areas such as RF spectrum monitoring, extensive cyber capabilities, satellite platforms, and in-orbit services tailored to the Kingdom’s needs. By leveraging their combined expertise, both companies aim to build a sophisticated and resilient space ecosystem that accommodates institutional and commercial requirements alike.

Enzo Benigni, Chairman and CEO of ELT Group, stated, “For ELT Group, space embodies the next frontier of information superiority, underpinned by RF monitoring, surveillance, and intelligence systems. Our alliance with D-Orbit empowers us to expedite this journey by merging our advanced capabilities in electromagnetic spectrum analysis and cyber intelligence with state-of-the-art orbital platforms. Together, we can help shape an infrastructure that not only meets Vision 2030 objectives but also enhances our strategic data generation and protection from space.

Luca Rossettini, CEO of D-Orbit, remarked, “Space is increasingly becoming a vital domain for national security, resilience, and technological autonomy. This cooperation with ELT Group unifies our strengths across advanced sensing, spectrum awareness, cyber, and orbital infrastructure. By developing space-based services, we aim to bolster secure communications, situational awareness, and data integrity, all while supporting the Kingdom’s national priorities and enhancing the domestic space industry.

A key facet of this framework is the investigation of industrial cooperation models aligned with Saudi localization policies. This includes initiatives focused on local manufacturing, strategic technology transfer, and developing domestic industrial and technological skills. ELT Group and D-Orbit—through their respective Saudi entities, Elettronica for Industry LLC and D-Orbit Saudi LLC—are ideally positioned to bolster future space-related activities in the Kingdom, aligning with national industrial development goals and addressing both domestic needs and export potentials.

The projected foreign direct investment from this partnership, which encompasses manufacturing capabilities and the exchange of strategic expertise, is anticipated to enhance Saudi Arabia’s competitiveness on the global stage of the space sector.
