
EM&E Group Boosts Ownership in INDRA to 14.3%
EM&E Group, a frontrunner in innovation and technology within the defense and security domains, has elevated its ownership in Indra to 14.3% of the IBEX 35 listed entity. The firm, already Indra’s predominant industrial ally and the second largest shareholder, surpassed SEPI, significantly amplifying its stake by 6% and bolstering its influence within the organization.
Amid the ongoing geopolitical landscape, EM&E firmly affirms its dedication to the advancement and enhancement of the technology sector, while solidifying its presence in critical areas such as defense, aerospace, and security. This move enhances synergies with Indra, a pivotal player in these pivotal industries.
EM&E, projecting revenues exceeding 300 million euros in 2024, with over 60% anticipated from international markets, is effectively broadening its impact and catering to the soaring global demand for remote weapon stations, ammunition guidance systems, anti-drone technologies, robotic solutions, and border surveillance systems—services for which it is recognized as a European and global benchmark.
With a backlog surpassing 1 billion euros, EM&E has recently reaffirmed its BBB rating, an acknowledgment that validates its financial stability for corporate endeavors, a feat accomplished by merely 8% of audited firms.
Established in 1989, EM&E has anchored its expansion strategy on vertical integration of capabilities and technologies, coupled with a robust commitment to research and development (R&D). This approach has positioned the company at the forefront of technology in developing intricate defense systems renowned for their reliability and added value.
