Lebanon Welcomes M113 Armored Personnel Carriers from Jordan: A Strategic Alliance in Action

At the behest of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, Monarch of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a vessel transporting 62 M113 armored troop carriers docked at the port of Beirut.

This consignment is a generous gesture from the Kingdom to the Lebanese Armed Forces.

The contribution was accepted in the presence of a delegate from the Jordanian Embassy alongside a representative of the Commander-in-Chief of the Lebanese Armed Forces, General Joseph Aoun. It will bolster the capabilities of the military, especially regarding operational deployment and missions executed across various regions of Lebanon, amid the unprecedented challenges the nation is facing.”
