Hanwha Aerospace has formalized an agreement with BAE Systems to assimilate next-generation, anti-jamming Global Positioning System (GPS) technology into Hanwha Aerospace’s ‘Deep Strike Capability’ precision-guided munition system.
This agreement unites the two aerospace and defense tech firms to collaborate in the pivotal domain of advanced navigation technology. This partnership will harness BAE Systems’ celebrated proficiency in military GPS and anti-jamming technologies to counter sophisticated electronic warfare challenges.

Hanwha’s Deep Strike Capability system delivers a versatile, multi-caliber and multi-range rocket launching capability, suitable for a variety of missions ranging from suppressing enemy fire support to neutralizing targets in intricate environments. Additionally, its dual-launcher design allows for the deployment of a diverse array of guided rockets from a single platform, ensuring enhanced firepower and operational adaptability.
The new navigation system, developed through this collaboration, is anticipated to endow Hanwha’s Deep Strike Capability system with exceptional accuracy and operational dependability, even in highly contested electronic environments.
