Swedish Armed Forces Welcome the Latest Fleet: Patria’s New Six-Wheeled Vehicles Unveiled!
The Swedish Armed Forces have officially acquired the initial delivery of new Patria’s six-wheeled armored vehicles, referred to in Sweden as Pansarterrängbil 300. The vehicles, which were produced in Finland, will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Swedish military.
These Patria 6×6 armored vehicles will be stationed at Livgardet regiment in Kungsängen, located near Stockholm, and further south within Sweden. An official transfer ceremony celebrating the delivery occurred at the Ground Combat School in Kvarn on 26 October 2023.
Besides Sweden, Patria’s 6×6 solution is also operational in Finland and Latvia, with Germany participating in the Patria 6×6-based Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) initiative. These 6×6 shipments further demonstrate that Sweden is a pivotal export market for Patria.
