Texelis is delighted to unveil yet another collaborator for its CELERIS 4×4 solution. Texelis has recently been chosen to equip Indonesian vehicle designer and manufacturer PT SSE with comprehensive kits for its CELERIS 4×4 mobility framework, alongside a thorough development and support package tailored to meet PT SSE’s specific requirements.
Texelis takes immense pride in partnering with PT SSE, a distinguished entity in both the Indonesian and global markets. PT SSE, or PT Sentra Surya Ekajaya, excels in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of specialized mission vehicles. PT SSE presents an extensive range of vehicles, primarily concentrating on the 4×4 category, along with relevant services.
The collaboration between Texelis and PT SSE signifies a tremendous achievement for French-Indonesian relations.
Both nations have maintained a strong alliance in defense over the years and are diligently working to strengthen their connections. This initiative serves as a solid illustration of that collaboration and enjoys robust backing from both French and Indonesian authorities, including the French Defense Mission at the French Embassy in Jakarta.
The GICAT (Groupement des Industries Françaises de Défense et de Sécurité terrestres et aéroterrestres – the French Land Defense and Security Industry Association) has also provided significant support, both in France and Indonesia.
This new collaboration for CELERIS reaffirms the worth of Texelis’ offerings for vehicle manufacturers seeking a high-performance, accredited, adaptable, comprehensive solution for land mobility to develop or enhance their vehicle range.

In addition to the inherent quality of the kits and the support provided throughout the development and qualification stages, CELERIS ensures a significantly quicker process than alternative solutions.
Under this partnership arrangement, Texelis will supply the initial kits to PT SSE in the first half of 2024. With Texelis’ comprehensive support, integration is expected to be finalized on the first prototype before the year concludes. Subsequent deliveries of the remaining series of kits will occur in 2025.
Through the CELERIS program, an experienced OEM can thus create a new prototype of an entirely novel vehicle in under a year. Qualification can then begin with complete backing from Texelis, which may set the overall program target at 18 months from order.
This new contract for CELERIS also presents an opportunity for Texelis and PT SSE to grow collaboratively as suppliers of mobility and complete systems integrators, leveraging this experience to initiate new partnership ventures throughout the program. CELERIS will also gain insights and experience from its users in Indonesia, continuously evolving throughout its lifecycle to adapt to users’ needs and operational missions.
