L3Harris Transforms Canadian Policing with Advanced WESCAM MX-10 Aerial Intelligence Technology
L3Harris Technologies has been selected to supply its advanced WESCAM MX-10 electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor systems to Airbus Helicopters Canada. These state-of-the-art systems will be utilized to enhance aerial support for numerous law enforcement agencies across Canada.
The WESCAM MX-10 features high-definition infrared sensors and advanced video tracking, enabling precise surveillance and public safety monitoring. It will be integrated into Airbus H125 helicopters to aid frontline patrols, tackling issues such as vehicle theft, street racing, and various security concerns.

L3Harris’ WESCAM MX-Series EO/IR systems are designed for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and target acquisition missions across aerial, ground, and maritime platforms. Earlier in 2024, the company announced a contract to deliver WESCAM MX-15D systems to Airbus Helicopters for the H145M multi-role helicopter fleet of the German military.
