Milaha and Fincantieri Forge Strategic Alliance to Shape Qatar’s Maritime Horizon

(“Milaha”), the premier provider of maritime and logistics services in the area, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fincantieri, one of the largest and most complex shipbuilding establishments globally, with operations spanning four continents. The MoU delineates a framework for prospective collaboration in sectors such as marine services, project administration, and technology amalgamation.

Present at the signing ceremony in Doha on behalf of Fincantieri were Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Pierroberto Folgiero, and Dario Deste, General Manager of the Naval Vessels Division. Representing Milaha was H.E. Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al-Thani, Milaha Chairman, along with Group Chief Executive Officer Mr. Fahad Saad Al-Qahtani.

Both entities have articulated a mutual intent to investigate further prospects that align with Qatar’s national developmental goals, especially in augmenting sovereign capabilities within the maritime industry.
