
Saab Set to Unveil Cutting-Edge 9AIR C4I System for NATO Ally by 2025
6 February 2025 – Saab has secured a contract from a NATO nation for its aerial command and control framework, 9AIR C4I. The total value of the agreement is around 250 MSEK. Shipments will commence in 2025. This order was recorded in Q4 2024.
Saab’s 9AIR enables operators to manage the air and space environments. Its offerings encompass the 9AIR C4I system, which provides adaptability and scalability for overseeing munitions, sensors, and communications in aerial and spatial operations. Saab’s 9AIR suite also includes the 9AIR Trainer, facilitating efficient operator instruction on sophisticated C4I systems, and the 9CCIS, crafted for effective planning, resource allocation, evaluation, and appraisal.

Our cutting-edge Air Command and Control System facilitates support planning, task assignment, and oversight across a wide array of missions and scenarios,” states Carl-Johan Bergholm, head of Saab’s business unit Surveillance.
