Today, the Saudi Defense Fund (SDF) unveiled its imminent objectives to bolster the Kingdom’s defense manufacturing capabilities through collaborations that enhance local production, fortify sovereign supply chains, and expedite the advancement of dual-use technologies.
SDF functions as a privately operated platform that collaborates with government entities and strategic organizations to cultivate sustainable competencies across land, aerial, maritime, cybernetic, and space sectors, in addition to training, MRO, and R&D endeavors. The Fund is affiliated with Global Defence Funds (defencefund.global).
“Establishing localization and robust supply chains is of paramount importance,” remarked a representative of the Saudi Defense Fund. “Our mission is to harmonize program discipline with technological transfer and workforce enhancement—ensuring that capabilities are developed within the Kingdom and for the Kingdom.”
