
Netherlands Defense Secures Deal for Cutting-Edge Oshkosh Dutch Expeditionary Vehicles
Oshkosh Defense Europe B.V. in collaboration with Oshkosh Defense, LLC, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation [NYSE: OSK], declared today the formal establishment of a pivotal contract with the Netherlands Ministry of Defense (MoD) for the acquisition of 150 Dutch Expeditionary Patrol Vehicles (DXPV), referred to as the “Kaaiman.”
The contract signing event, conducted on June 25, 2025, in Doorn, Netherlands, signifies a crucial advancement in the Netherlands’ ongoing enhancement of its expeditionary capabilities and underscores Oshkosh’s steadfast reputation as the preferred partner for global allies.
The Oshkosh DXPV is based on the reliable Oshkosh Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) framework. It amalgamates years of engineering prowess and operational superiority, providing the Dutch Marines with an advanced solution specifically designed for contemporary missions and expeditionary assignments. The vehicle offers unparalleled off-road agility, rapid speed, and seamless compatibility with NATO forces, ensuring the Netherlands’ effectiveness in various and demanding environments.

With this contract, the Netherlands enhances a growing roster of international partners opting for the tried and tested JLTV platform to fortify their ground forces. The DXPV will improve the mobility, survivability, and operational effectiveness of the Dutch Marines, ensuring mission preparedness in both joint and allied operations.
